When using the Form Builder, you can add a table which can be used for Database Lookups or Assets lists. There are also two views that can be used in the Form builder while editing, to make it easier for you while you build the table, column or table view
.
All fields within the table will be listed in the same row within the form when it is being used, so knowing how to increase or decrease the column sizes for each of the fields can make it much easier to fill out. Being able to adjust the column widths means you can have more space for some fields, and minimal space for others (numbers or dates or pricing, etc).
You can find the options for the column widths in the Field Settings for the table.
The widths can be arranged by either percentage of the page width, or by pixel measurements. If you're unsure of pixel width or going far over or under the width of the page, then it is easier to use percentage size.
The width settings will update in the Table properties as you add more fields to the table, however you will need to manually update the column width settings.
For example; in the below image, another field has been added to the table, and after setting up the new field settings and returning to the Table settings, the fourth field has been added and has designated it's width percentage as 25%, while the other fields still have 33% listed. You will need to change them to 25% (or the preferred percentage of each separate column).
